Quiet Courage

I wrote these poems to pay tribute to twenty patients whose lives I had been part of during their rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist I challenged them to trust me and work really hard and they did! They were in acute care, long term, rehabilitation and home care. Their lives had changed dramatically but they faced their future with dignity and often humour. As they progressed they became more supportive of each other and demonstrated Quiet Courage.
